I know I sound stupid, but is there a CO-OP mode? Y'know, work with your friend (via LAN or something. LAN is an unfortunate coincidence.) to defeat a double threat...?

Somebody's going to post 'That sounds like MMBN6 remade!'

2 on 2 battles just wouldn't work...If fact it would be disastrous. With the correct chips you could automatically hit your opponent at all times, and I can't increase the number of panels because that would resize the screen.

well, from what i know on online programming (which isnt much >_>) you can make it where the second player is just drawn, not actually a real in game object, if you made it where the players shot would "solidify..?" when it hit the blue panels, that would maybe work.....
just thought id throw it out there =\

Yeah, but just stack your folder with chips that hit 2 or more rows, such as WideShot, or the Tusk chip from BN4, and there's no dodging.  Same with a GunSolDel3/GunSolDelEX combo to hit a 3*3 square.  Or Player1 uses high damage/AOE chips, and Player2 uses Guard/Reflect/<Element>Ball/CurseShield to defend

It would only work if you played as 'possessed' virii, since we could limit their attacks more.

It's not a case of 'Krabz can't do it', it's a case of 'Krabz knows it would suck'

Theres always tag teams. Have it so you could only switch out during the chip selection screen, and make it so that switching out means your teammate gos in without chips the first round.

True I suppose. I guess the battle network series just wasn't made for team battles. Although I feel like theres something that could be done to better involve multiple people at once. Maybe team oriented events or something.

Oh well, work on actually getting the game out first. :p

Maybe you could have you partner choose first the chips and you both would have them.
then the next turn you would choose.

Or we could have it as a secret Admin/CN Mod (i.e. in-game mods, not forum mods) attack for use on trolls/griefers/<spawn/corpse>campers, whereby the Admin/Mod and the player being abused both attack the victim.  If the victim loses, they get banned, if they win, they don't.  It's one of those 'split' battles, like in the Liberations in BN5:

P = Player, faces >
V = Victim, faces <
M = Admin/Mod, faces <
Oh, and the Victim can't turn around... XD
